Over the course of the season so far, Burnley’s dabbling in the transfer market has finally brought together two of football’s oldest muckers reunited at Turf Moor.
Indeed, Burnley broke their transfer record to bring in Robbie Brady on deadline day, thus reuniting the Irish midfielder with boyhood teammate Jeff Hendrick.
Before moving to England with Manchester United and Derby respectively, both Brady and Hendrick spent almost 10 years playing together at St Kevin’s Boys in Dublin and have remained good friends since.
Thankfully, photographic proof does exist and a cheekier little bugger (Brady) you could not wish to meet!

Several photos of the dynamic duo together at St Kevin’s did the social media rounds shortly after Brady’s move went thought.
Turns out he was definitely ‘that kid’…
A strong look, and one that should be reinstated without a moment’s hesitation.
For old times sake, Robbie. Please?
